Minimum Wage Rate – effective April 1, 2020 The minimum wage has increased to $18.90 from April 1, 2020. Those who currently pay an hourly rate below the new minimum wage will automatically be increased to $18.90 per hour from April 1, 2020. The tariffs printed in the collective agreements will not change as long as the current collective agreements expire and a new collective agreement is concluded. 3.5.4 The job description and/or written requirements may be updated by the employer after consultation with the worker (at the time of the annual assessment or on another date). Substantial changes to the job description and/or written requirements can only be made after consultation with the worker by the employer and after seeking to reach an agreement. 3.15.6 Each annual employment agreement between the employee and the employer is subject to the following conditions: 3.1.3 The management group is reserved for employees who: 3.14.1 If an employee has a paid job for 52 weeks per year, there is nothing to prevent a written agreement between that employee and his employer to pay a set of remunerations including allowances and/or overtime. This provision is intended to provide a mechanism for simplifying the management and operation of the collective agreement of schools and not to penalise the employee with regard to his rights under that agreement.

3.10.4 Until January 27, 2012, workers were entitled to qualification allowance in accordance with the provisions of the school collective agreement from December 10, 2009 to March 31, 2011, as if these provisions were included in that collective agreement. 3.1.2 Subject to clause 3.1.3 below, the employer of this management group may, by mutual agreement (for existing workers who already meet the criteria already met) or at the sole discretion of the employer (worker designated for the place or after June 27, 2014).
